Full Moon in Leo Chart- February 9, 2020

Full Moon in Leo Chart: February 9, 2020

The Full Moon in Leo marks the beginning of a new cycle. The February Full Moon is named after the snow on the ground. Some Native American tribes named this the Hunger Moon; others called it the Storm Moon. In ancient times, it was common to track the changing seasons by following the lunar month rather than the solar year, which the 12 month in our modern calendar are based on.

For millennia, people across Europe, as well as Native American tribes, named the months after features they associated with the Northern Hemisphere seasons, and many of these names are very similar or identical. January & March have two Full Moons each, creating a double Blue Moon.

The Full Moon is the phase of the lunar cycle most closely connected with Successful Manifestations & Affirmations so make the most of this period. You should be feeling more energized than ever! Also, you should have strong abilities to both experience and express gratitude, also a time to give & receive love.

If there is anything challenging or a little daunting that you need to do to achieve your life goals, this is the ideal time to engage with it. You’ll be confident, strong, and focused on a positive outcome.

Happy February, Happy Full Moon, Happy Valentine,

Love You All, May Peace Be with You All !!!

Ready?! The Full Wolf Moon Jan 2020

wolfmoon

The full Wolf Moon rises this Friday, January 10, 2020, the first of 13 full Moons this year.

The full Moon for January was called the Full Wolf Moon because wolves were more often heard at this time. It was traditionally thought that they howled due to hunger, but there is no evidence for this. However, wolves do tend to howl more often during winter months, and generally howl to define territory, locate pack members, and gather for hunting.

The Cancer Moon is opposing quite a roundup of planets in its opposite sign, Capricorn, and there can be a sudden awareness of our emotions in the face of the rules and our ambitions. Initially, we can feel extremely sensitive and perhaps somewhat powerless. However, our feelings count, and we’ll see and feel their power now, paving the road for new directions.

This is a time to continue to clear up past patterns that have been holding us back from personal fulfillment, particularly those that are home or family-centered or that revolve around our work-home balance and attitudes toward comfort and responsibility. There will be more work to come in these areas, but for now, we are experiencing a greater awareness of problems and especially lacks or flaws.

Through events, circumstances, and epiphanies occurring around the time of this eclipse, we learn that we need to get in touch with our needs for nurture, family, comfort, familiarity, and love in order for our lives, including our professional lives, to be full and worthwhile.

In astrology, the Moon is connected to our emotions, intuition, feelings of security, maternal energy, creativity and our potential.  The Full Moon represents the most powerful point in the cycle, it is a time of high energy and high power and is a time to release and let go of all that no longer serves you, in order to welcome in the new. In the cycle of death and rebirth, the Full Moon represents the starting of the death. Full Moon’s are a potent time, and on a deeper level they activate us to merge with our full potential. They also help us to see things in a new light and often they can reveal things to us.

Find a sacred space, preferably under the light of the Full Moon where you will not be disturbed, State what you want to release aloud and take a deep breath, as you exhale imagine whatever you want to let go floating away. Be sure to thank the Moon and the Universe afterwards. Happy Full Wolf Moon !!!
