Got Allergies? Itchy nose & eyes? Symphony of sneezes? Welcome to Allergy Season. Spring and Summer Tips to avoid.
Avoid being outside in the Morning when pollen counts are high. Keep home and car windows closed and use air conditioning. Have someone mow your lawn without allergies. Vacation to low pollen areas, like a beach. Also allergy symptoms can be worse on hot, dry, windy days and mild on rainy, cloudy windless days.

ALLERGY

Allergy Triggers:   Dust mites on bed, furniture and carpets. Pet allergies cats or dogs, minimize contact and keep pets out of bedroom, and vacuum carpets. Also other triggers Mold and mildew live on damp surfaces. Clean, shower curtains, bathroom walls, sinks, counter tops. Living rooms, use washable curtains. Basement and Laundry use or store clothes in plastic bins to minimize dust and dampness.
Children’s Allergies:   Bathe them at the end of the day to remove allergens from body and hair. Clean regularly. Vacuum with HEPA filter and wash cuddle toys weekly in hot water. Use air condition with HEPA filter, keeping windows shut, limiting pollen and mold.
Kids have 33% of getting allergies if one parent has them, and 70% is both parents have them. Girls are more likely to get if their mom has them. Boys are more likely if their dad has them.

Antihistamines– block histamine, which causes the sneezing, itchy, runny nose, sore throat. etc.
Decongestants shrink blood vessels that are swollen, congestion and pressure
Nasal Allergy Relievers symptom relief, nasal sprays, nasal saline, lubricant eye drops.
