Holiday Shopping This Year?! Tips!

Holiday Shopping?! Quick Tips on Saving this Year Friendly Reminders

Start saving Early. There’s no better time than the present to start saving money for the holidays. No matter when you start saving, think about opening a holiday savings account that you can deposit money into all year.

Set a realistic budget. Figure out exactly how much money you have to spend. And don’t forget to factor in wrapping paper, holiday cards and postage. The little extras that are often forgotten are just the things that can throw your entire budget off track if you’re not careful.

Make your holiday shopping list. After your budget has been set and you’ve started saving, it’s a good idea to create a list of everyone you intend to buy for. Don’t forget to include items like hostess gifts for parties you’ll attend, a gift for your boss and that family gift exchange you’re included in year after year. It also may be smart to purchase a few small gifts for surprise visitors or a last-minute party. Once you’ve made your list, keep it handy so you can refer to it often. The list will help you stay on track and keep you from forgetting anyone.

Do your homework. There’s nothing worse than buying a gift at full price, only to see that another retailer is selling it cheaper. Before you hit the stores, do your homework and compare prices for the gifts you know you want to buy. From newspaper ads to online shopping that offers free shipping and other holiday deals, do your research and create a “plan of attack” to help your money stretch.

Count down to the holidays. There’s no better motivation to get your holiday shopping done on time than to make a countdown to the holidays and put it somewhere you can see it. That way you’ll always know exactly how long you have to finish shopping and get gifts wrapped and sent, if needed.

Get a head start. It’s much easier to make smart choices with your money when you’re not waiting until the last minute to shop. Procrastinating only promotes rushed shopping, overspending and buyer’s remorse as the guilt of going over budget sets in. So, get a head start and begin your holiday shopping early enough to take your time and make smart choices.

Be thoughtful. When in doubt about a gift to give, get creative and be thoughtful. Think about your most cherished gifts throughout the years. They’re probably some of the most thoughtful gifts you’ve received. For instance, a scrapbook of shared memories or an appreciation book may take a little more effort or time, but they’re certainly thoughtful and creative. And they’re often less expensive, too.

If all else fails, give a gift card. If you’ve had trouble finding the perfect gift or you simply run out of time, give the gift that everyone’s sure to enjoy. A gift card is the ideal gift for anyone on your holiday shopping list.

Make a payoff plan. If you were able to save some money throughout the year to help lighten the financial burden when the holidays roll around, great. If not, make a plan to pay off the money you’ve spent once the new year arrives. It’s important that you set a financial strategy that works for you and your budget.

Ready, set, shop. After you’ve made your list, set your budget and done your homework, you’re ready to shop until you drop. It’s a great feeling to hit up the stores you need and start checking items off your list. And remember, the holidays are a great time to take advantage of price-match guarantees, free shipping and other end-of-year deals.

These holiday shopping and savings tips are sure to help you slow down and enjoy the holidays for what they’re meant to be – a special time to spend with your loved ones. Avoid holiday hassle by finding a bank that offers the flexibility you need to help keep all of your finances in order - during the holidays and the rest of the year.

Happy Holiday Shopping!!!

Self Cleansing, Get back your Self-power?! Try Today!

Try Self Cleansing Once a week, A month, or anytime suitable to gain your self power and positive energy in your life to a daily basis. Self Rituals are a symbolic way to help you release old hurts and prepare for new goals. Everyone encounters negativity in life, including gossip, turmoil at work, breakups and other losses. They can block you spiritually if you allow them to build and gather power. By performing a spiritual cleansing, you can release these negatives and reclaim your power. A cleansing can act as the starting point for moving in a healthier direction.

Step 1. Take a bath to prepare yourself physically for the spiritual cleansing. Try using bath salts in the water, as salt is traditionally considered to be a cleansing element. As you relax in the hot water, meditate on the specific areas of your life that need cleansing.

Step 2. Write down the aspects of your life that you wish to cleanse. Focus on items that contribute to negativity and keep you stuck. Include everything that needs to be released to clear your spirit.

Step 3. Meditate on the list of negatives you just created. Envision the negativity in your life dissolving, turning to dust and blowing away on the wind. If you have religious beliefs, you can pray to your deity or higher power during this process, asking for help with your cleansing. Otherwise, simply repeat a mantra such as, “I release all that is negative in my life. I release its power over me. I reclaim the power of my spirit.”

Step 4. Burn the list. You can ignite it with a candle, match or lighter, but do it in a safe place where there is no danger of starting a fire. The best spot is over a sink or bathtub. Put a plate in the bottom of the sink or tub to catch any ashes, which you can scatter outside.

Step 5. Say aloud & firm with belief “I am purified by the flame. My spirit is cleansed and freed.” as the paper burns. As you do this, imagine everything negative rising up from your spirit and vaporizing.

Things you need. Bath salts, white Candle, matches or lighter, Bowl or vase (optional)

Prayer against Attacks?!

1. A Prayer to Guard Your Heart

Lord God, Captain of my heart, Satan knows if I follow Your Greatest Commandment to love You with all my heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37) he is powerless over me. Guard my heart, Lord Jesus, so that it beats for You alone. Don’t let me grow complacent toward You or be lured to love anyone or anything more than You. Remove the idols from my heart so that You alone command my allegiance and utmost affections Help me to love and forgive others as You have forgiven me so the enemy can get no foothold through hate or bitterness on my part. Cultivate in my heart Your love that “bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things” (>1 Corinthians 13:7  Finally, Lord, set my heart on things above, not on earthly things. Fix my thoughts, Lord Jesus, on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Help me to think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise so Your peace will guard my mind (Philippians 4:8-9). Don’t let me copy the behavior and customs of this world, but transform me into a new person by changing the way I think. Then I will learn to recognize Your will for me which is good and pleasing and perfect (Romans 12:2.  Saturate my mind with Your truth so I am convinced that the answers are found in Your Word, not out in the world.

Lord, keep the enemy at bay by calming my emotions with the peace of Your presence. Thank You that You are the God of peace, the God of order, the God who heals my wounds and helps me sort through and make sense of life. You are not the God of chaos or confusion. 4. A Prayer to Cover Your Mouth

Lord, Jesus, guard my mouth so that my words will be few. Help me to be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger (James 1:19). Don’t let me speak reckless words that can pierce like swords. Instead, give me a tongue that brings healing (Proverbs 12:18). Don’t let me give in to gossip or speak careless critical words that will wound others. Keep the enemy far from me so that no unwholesome talk comes out of my mouth but only what is helpful for building others up, according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Don’t let me grieve the Holy Spirit through my words (Ephesians 4:29-30).

5. A Prayer to Protect Your Body

Lord, I give my body to You. Let it be a living and holy sacrifice, the kind You will find acceptable (Romans 12:1, I  know from Your Word that Satan can not sift me like wheat or even lay a hand on me without Your permission. So place Your hedge around me so that my body – Your temple – can be preserved, pure, holy, and healthy for You (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Block Satan’s attempts to make me doubt that I am “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14) and don’t let me listen to his taunts to harm my body through neglect, contempt, addiction or abuse. I am Yours, Lord Jesus, and I want to glorify You in my body so keep me from Satan’s attempts and the temptations in this world and in my flesh to make me impure, to dress immodestly, to make my body a showcase or advertisement for evil or self glorification.

As you pray that God will develop the fruits of His Holy Spirit in every area of your life, you will be invincible through prayer to the one who seeks to tear you down and make you less like Christ.

Try Healing your Childhood Sexual Abuse

Healing childhood sexual abuse or being sexually assaulted can be shattering, leaving you feeling scared, ashamed, and alone or plagued by nightmares, flashbacks, and unpleasant memories. But no matter how bad you feel, it’s important to remember that you weren’t to blame for what happened and you can regain your sense of safety and trust. Recovering from sexual trauma takes time, and the healing process can be painful. But with the right strategies and support, you can move past the trauma, rebuild your sense of control and self-worth, and even come out the other side feeling stronger and more resilient.

Trust –
The inner you that went into hiding, as a child, needs to know the “adult” you is safe. To build trust, treat the wounded “you” the way you would have liked to have been treated when you were little.

Validate –
Validate you by acknowledging that the sexual abuse you were subjected to (or any abuse) wounded you, clear to the depths of your soul. Your response to being wounded was completely normal under abnormal circumstances.

Be angry –
It’s okay to be angry. In fact, it’s better than okay. Be enraged at the injustice. You have to get angry before you can get well. Think of your anger as a healthy response. It is.

Grieve –
Mourn your betrayal, mourn what ‘might have been,’ what your family could have looked like, what a carefree childhood should have felt like. Grieve your loss. People who bury their grief stay stuck in it.

Allow sorrow –
Feel sadness for your inner child’s pain. It was so lonely – this feeling that there was something, somehow, wrong with you.

Face forward –
Acknowledge your history – but do not let it define you. Believe you are strong enough. You are – you survived. You are stronger than you think.

I am who I am today because of my history. I didn’t choose my mom and dad, I was born to them. I would be a different individual — not better, not worse — just different, had I had another set of parents. What I know is that because I experienced what I did, I understand the heart of another in the way only those who share a history of childhood abuse can. In this I am certain: if I can do it, so can you. Take care. You are always loved & supported.

HELLO AUTUMN OCTOBER

OCTOBER  This day, Father, may my eyes be opened to see the beauty
in all that is ordinary – yet special – around me.
May the glory of all that you have made remind me of your presence and lead me closer to you
. Heavenly Father GOD.

Hello October!!! Its Time for A New Season of Abundance.

Don’t be surprised to find some unexpected visitors in your home toward the end of October. And, no, we don’t meet trick-or-treaters.
Instead, stubborn spirits. “Ghosts, spirits, entities, etc. are associated with Halloween because the divider between the living and the dead is a little bit thinner this time of year.

Amy Blackthorn, a Professional in Newark, Del., who can be hired to cast out spirits. Or you can take a proactive approach, and have your house blessed or cleansed of negative energy in the home or before you move in.

Spirits stick around for various reasons such as the following, experts say.
The apparition might be drawn to a former residence or haunt. “Sometimes a loved one’s grief is so strong, it’s a cord that binds them to this place or area space.

Anna Oliver, a shaman from Tampa, Fla., who conducts meditations to meet up with such spirits. When she explains the need to move on, “they’re usually willing to go. They feel stuck.” It’s not always about stuck spirits. Some clients ask Oliver to do spatial clearing to remove negativity. Something as common as an argument can mar a space. “That all leaves an energetic imprint,” she says. Her goal is to “clear space out so you can claim it for yourself.

Tip: light a  white candle, Then say a prayer or asks residents to visualize what they want to occur in the space — prosperity, for example, or a house full of love, family blessings etc. Ask for a blessing for each area of a home. Also can purchase white sage incense or a negative clearing incense to burn in home or area space.

While each person uses his or her own method of cleansing, there is overlap in the tools practitioners use. For example, people from various traditions use salt, candles and smoke from smudge sticks or incense. Salt absorbs negative energy. Candles signify purity or the divine. The smoke from herbs such as sage, cedar and lavender travel out open windows, drawing out negative energy. Other options place the top half of an onion in the garbage disposal to pull negative energy down the drain, then sets the bottom half in a sunny kitchen window to pull in any lingering last bits of energy. White candles in a cleansing ceremony to signify purity.

“Your home really should be a place you consider HOLY.
If you’re ready to move to other places,  green candles to represent money, so the home will sell quickly.

A Christian blessing
Toting a Bible blesses houses. During a blessing, the owners consecrate and dedicate their home to a higher purpose. Sometimes, residents are looking for tranquility. In one  But “they just wanted peace, not a constant reminder when they looked at the room. They wanted a sense of peace and love in that home.” Always keep Opened Bibles.

Feng shui way
Mary Mihaly, a feng shui practitioner in Cleveland, sprinkles flower petals around homes. “Flowers are the best energy booster you can use in a space,” she says.
Sometimes Mihaly crumbles citrus peels around the exterior of a house. She returns the next day with more citrus peels, shaped like nine coins, and places them in water. Chanting and flicking the water around the house helps ward off negativity.
