Safe Travel Tips, Reduce your stress for Traveling. Some things you are not able to control, but keeping in mind safety first. Here are a few tips to make your travel safe. 

Schedule your arrival during daylight. Know how you will get to your first hotel or place of stay.  Walk with confidence. Also Stay in public. Where you’re staying is personal information. Basic apps for your phone: Flashlight, Compass, Google maps, Weather, Find you phone. Stay alert.

Make Copies of Your ID and Passport: Make two photocopies of your license or passport in case either is lost or stolen. Make one copy and store it separately from your original, leave another with a relative. There is also a free service for U.S. citizens, The program permits enrollment with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate, if an emergency such as a lost or stolen passport. Also Check your government’s travel site.

Secure Your Wallet:  Only carry the card(s) you plan to use on the trip, leave the rest of your cards at home. If you decide to bring more than one credit card, have the  account information, keep customer service numbers for the cards available, or secure location , or maybe in a hotel safe. Only Take out what you need. Get a credit card that doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees. Don’t flash wealth. Keep your belongings close.

Check Out Activity Guides: Before you book any trips, activities, or anything in general,  check online for customer reviews. See what others have to say about the company, any customer reviews may  help you choose a safe travel experience. Choose your destination carefully. Know how to get help if needed. Any Local Emergency contact numbers. Carry the business card of your hotel or hostel.

Travel like a Local: When visiting any new location, know your surroundings,  plan your route in advance. Be aware of how  locals talk, dress, etc,  consider whether certain actions will make you stand out as a tourist. Know your strengths and weaknesses. Trust your intuition

Weather Check: Keep tabs on weather reports for any travel to & from Destinations. 

Avoid Online Oversharing : Posting photos, checking In social media sites advertises your absence from home. Never overshare Real-time updates, wait until you return home safely.  Be sure to Take advantage of your time away,  relax by taking a  safe travel steps to avoid potential problems.
